What To Expect
Getting Started + Scheduling
Option 1: Email First Send me an email describing what you're looking for and what brings you to therapy. This helps me understand if we might be a good fit and allows me to provide initial guidance about next steps.
Option 2: Schedule Directly If you're ready to begin, you can schedule a consultation or first session directly. Once you book, I'll send intake forms and additional information to the email address you provide in your booking.
After Booking: All clinical sessions are conducted through Therapy Unscripted under licensed supervision. You'll receive intake paperwork, session logistics, and payment information prior to our first meeting.
Pricing & Accessibility
I'm committed to making this work accessible while valuing the depth of what we do together. If the standard rate isn't feasible, let's talk about what works within your reality. If you can afford to pay the market rate, I ask that you do so, honoring your capacity and mine.
Disclaimer: All clinical therapy fees are processed through Racquel Ross’ secure payment system. No payments are collected directly through Beautiful Souls Aligned.
$150-200
Individual Therapy + EMDR
(30 - 50 Min)
Individual therapy is for people dealing with trauma, addiction, family dynamics, identity questions, and life transitions that feel too big to navigate alone. This work is about creating space for what's actually happening without rushing toward resolution, honoring the truth of your experience while building capacity for what comes next.
$200-250
Couples Therapy
(50 - 75 Min)
Couples therapy is for relationships navigating the complexity of love within structures of power, trauma, and competing survival strategies. Couples therapy is for relationships ready to start building something real, working through the patterns, power dynamics, and survival strategies that keep you stuck in cycles that no longer serve either of you.
$95-$125
Sliding Scale
(50 Min)
The sliding scale is for people who need this work but can't access it at full rate, because healing shouldn't be a luxury reserved for those with the most resources.
Psychology Today Profile
I keep a Psychology Today profile because a lot of people search for therapists there. It has information about my clinical approach, what I specialize in, and logistical details like insurance and availability. It won't tell you everything about how I work, but it's there if you want another reference point.
Open Path Collective Profile
I'm part of Open Path Collective, a nonprofit that connects people with affordable therapy. This platform offers sliding scale rates for those who need therapy but can't access it at full rate, because healing shouldn't be a luxury reserved for those with the most resources.
Polyamory-Friendly Professionals Profile
I'm part of the Polyamory-Friendly Professionals Directory, a network of clinicians who affirm polyamorous relationships and understand the unique needs of polyamorous communities. Being listed here means I'm committed to creating an affirming, non-judgmental space for poly clients to explore their relationships, communication patterns, and personal healing without fear of bias or misunderstanding.
Therapy Finder Profile
I'm listed on Therapy Finder, SimplePractice's public directory for clients seeking therapists who match their specific needs. My profile includes detailed information about my specialties, approach, availability, and the communities I serve. You can browse my full profile, read about how I work, and book a consultation directly through the directory.

FAQs
-
We'll spend time getting clear on what brought you here and what you're hoping for from our work together. No intake marathon, just real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
-
People who are ready to be honest about their experiences without needing to make them palatable. Folks navigating systems that weren't designed for them. Anyone tired of being told the problem is their individual response to collective issues.
-
Send a direct email or fill out the contact form. I'll email you with available times, and send an intake form. We'll find something that works for both our schedules and get started.
-
48-hour notice for cancellations. Life happens, we'll work together on what makes sense.
-
Standard Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM
Evening Sessions: Available until 8 PM for sessions $195+

Sunday: Rarely available
I'll send you available times that work within your schedule, and we'll find something that works for both of us.
-
Self-Pay Practice: I operate on a self-pay basis and do not accept insurance directly. I work as an ACSW under supervision and do not take insurance.
Insurance Reimbursement: Many clients successfully get reimbursed by submitting superbills to their insurance companies. I provide detailed superbills that include all necessary information for out-of-network reimbursement.
How Superbills Work: After each session, or monthly, I'll provide you with a superbill containing session details and diagnostic codes. You submit this directly to your insurance company, and they send reimbursement directly to you if approved.
Payment Methods: I accept credit cards, and charge through a payment service through the company I work for.
Sliding Scale: Limited spots available through Open Path Collective or outside of Open Path for those who qualify financially.

"Are these clinical services provided independently?"
No. I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #132079) who cannot provide clinical services independently. All clinical therapy services listed on this page are provided under supervision with Racquel Ross, LMFT #131084 in compliance with California licensing requirements.
Everything else on this website is outside that scope.
-
Yes. According to California Code of Regulations Title 16, § 1811, associates must include:
(1) full name as filed with BBS,
(2) registration title and number,
(3) employer name, and
(4) supervision disclosure.
All requirements are met on this page. The BBS regulations contain no restrictions on associates having professional websites provided these disclosures are present.
The information on this page is separate from any other services offered on this website, and under this brand.
Supervision does not apply to any other services on this website or independent non-clinical services offered by myself through Beautiful Souls Aligned.
Beautiful Souls aligned assumes all liability for independent services offered through its own brand.
-
All clinical therapy session bookings, payments, and documentation are processed through Racquel Ross systems. When you book through this page, you are not scheduling clinical services through Beautiful Souls Aligned.
-
Beautiful Souls Aligned is my professional and personal brand for non-clinical services. Clinical therapy services are provided exclusively under supervision of Racquel Ross, LMFT #131084.
-
While Psychology Today is a valuable platform, it charges $25+ monthly and has algorithm issues that limit associate visibility. My website presents the same BBS-compliant information in a more accessible format for potential clients, which benefits both client access and Rising Mind Collective's business development.
-
This page functions identically to Psychology Today, Open Path, or TherapyDen profiles - all platforms where associates advertise services provided through their employing practices. The same BBS disclosure requirements apply regardless of platform.
-
Many practices utilize associate models to expand service capacity while associates build clinical hours toward licensure. Associates handle their own marketing, client acquisition, and administrative tasks using personal resources, while practices provide supervision and clinical infrastructure. This model allows practices to grow revenue without overhead costs for marketing or client development.
-
All therapy session payments are processed exclusively through Racquel Ross’ Stripe payment system. Beautiful Souls Aligned does not collect any clinical service payments.
-
I, Lola Alexander, markets and advertise my clinical therapy services through my Brand Beautiful Souls Aligned, which streamlines communication and referral services for clinical therapy provided under supervision of Racquel Ross, LMFT #131084
This system connects people seeking me specifically to the proper TUS channels where they can receive clinical therapy services.
-
Therapy Fund participants can use their vouchers for sessions with me. As a pre-licensed clinician working under supervision. My supervisor's information will be included when invoices are submitted through the portal.
