Clinical Therapy Services

My Approach

I'm an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW #132079) whose work is rooted in emotional attunement, relational depth, and integrity. I work with individuals, couples, and families across identities, cultures, and life experiences, offering therapy that adapts to the person in front of me rather than forcing people into rigid models.

My approach is emotionally focused and relational, drawing from my lived experience as a Black Autistic (AuDHD) queer woman to understand and align with the diverse needs and experiences of my clients. I work intuitively and collaboratively, helping clients understand their emotional patterns, repair relational ruptures, and move toward greater alignment between what they feel, what they value, and how they live.

As a Black woman and clinician, I bring a critical awareness of systemic harm into the therapy room without losing sight of tenderness, accountability, or personal agency. My work is especially supportive for people navigating emotional intensity, relationship challenges, identity exploration, recovery, and life transitions.

At the core of my practice is that healing happens when people feel seen clearly, responded to honestly, and supported in becoming more fully themselves.

Individual Therapy

(30 - 50 Min)

Individual therapy is for people dealing with trauma, addiction, family dynamics, identity questions, and life transitions that feel too big to navigate alone. This work is about creating space for what's actually happening without rushing toward resolution, honoring the truth of your experience while building capacity for what comes next.

Pricing & Accessibility

I'm committed to making this work accessible while valuing the depth of what we do together. If the standard rate isn't feasible, let's talk about what works within your reality. If you can afford to pay the market rate, I ask that you do so, honoring your capacity and mine.

$175-225

Couples Therapy

(50 - 75 Min)

Couples therapy is for relationships navigating the complexity of love within structures of power, trauma, and competing survival strategies. Couples therapy is for relationships ready to start building something real, working through the patterns, power dynamics, and survival strategies that keep you stuck in cycles that no longer serve either of you.

$70-125

Sliding Scale

(50 Min)

The sliding scale is for people who need this work but can't access it at full rate, because healing shouldn't be a luxury reserved for those with the most resources.

Things clients have said to me in session

Below are first-person, in-session style statements (shared anonymously).

  • "I've never cried in a therapy session. I cried twice... I need someone who can take that out of me. I need somebody who's emotionally aware and emotionally intelligent... there's an emotional connection. You permit someone to actually open up."

What To Expect

Getting Started + Scheduling

Send me an email at holistictherapywithlola@gmail.com or fill out the contact form below with a brief description of what's bringing you to therapy. I'll respond within 24-48 hours to send over intake paperwork, fee agreement, and anything else needed to get you started. If you want a consultation, please let me know.

I'll send you available times, and we'll find something that works for both our schedules. For cancellations, I ask for 48-hour notice when possible.

Consultation Call (10-15 minutes, free)

We'll talk about what you're looking for, my approach, and whether we feel like a good fit. This isn't a therapy session - it's a chance for both of us to see if we want to work together.

Sessions

First Session: We'll spend time understanding what brought you here and what you're hoping for from our work together. No lengthy intake forms - just real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.

Ongoing Sessions: Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly, depending on what works for your life and healing process. We'll check in regularly about how therapy is feeling and adjust as needed. Monthly sessions are also available for those in need of less frequent check-ins.

Psychology Today Profile

I keep a Psychology Today profile because a lot of people search for therapists there. It has information about my clinical approach, what I specialize in, and logistical details like insurance and availability. It won't tell you everything about how I work, but it's there if you want another reference point.
