Mental Health Engineering Structured Psychological Support for Individuals Inside Organizations
Therapy-first support that helps people see and shift the internal patterns shaping how they respond to stress, conflict, and pressure.
This offering is about the people inside your organization.
I help individuals identify the internal patterns driving how they show up — personally and professionally — and support them in making different choices when they decide to do the work. I do not promise culture change or fix systems. I work with people first — therapy and guided psychological workshops — so that behavior can shift in ways that help them show up more clearly, intentionally, and sustainably.
The work begins with the person, not the system. Internal patterns influence how someone leads, communicates, and makes decisions. This offering supports individuals — through therapy and structured psychological sessions or workshops — in identifying those patterns, tracing their origin, separating emotional experience from story, and choosing aligned behavior when they decide to do the work. This is not culture change consulting or operational optimization. It is guided support for human behavior rooted in clinical and relational depth.
The Problem
Individuals carry the same relational and emotional patterns into work that they carry into life. Those patterns influence how people communicate, make decisions, handle stress, and relate to others under pressure. When these patterns go unexamined, they show up as reactivity, burnout, avoidant behavior, conflict escalation, and decision fatigue.
What I do: I help you metabolize stress and internal conflict in real time so performance improves without numbing, collapse, or turnover. I work with you and your team to stabilize the emotional and relational systems underneath the operational ones. That's where actual change happens.
HOW I WORK
I'm an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW #132079) whose work is rooted in emotional attunement, relational depth, and integrity. I work with founders, leadership teams, and people and organizations where emotional overload quietly impacts performance, communication, and operational stability.
My approach is emotionally focused and relational, drawing from my lived experience as a Black Autistic (AuDHD) queer woman. I work intuitively and collaboratively, helping you understand emotional patterns, repair relational ruptures, and move toward greater alignment between what you feel, what you value, and how you lead.
I bring a critical awareness of systemic harm without losing sight of tenderness, accountability, or personal agency. At the core of my work is this: healing and performance happen when people feel seen clearly, responded to honestly, and supported in becoming more fully themselves.
This is mental health support brought directly to your team. I integrate everything — your human design, your astrological chart, your lived experience, your nervous system response to pressure. I work spiritually and psychologically because humans don't operate in silos. Your internal world directly shapes how you lead, how you make decisions, how your team responds to you.
In this work, I use my clinical training to do something different — it's therapeutic work grounded in clinical expertise, but it's not clinical therapy. It's performance engineering, stabilization support, real-time guidance, and relational depth applied to help you and your team function better under pressure.
I work with people, not on them. That's the difference.

What Mental Health Engineering Actually Is.
Mental Health Engineering is therapeutic work. It's what I call it when I use all my training to help you actually function — not just feel better, but perform better without destroying yourself in the process. It's intentional stabilization of the human system so performance improves without sacrifice.
It's a structured approach that addresses the root causes of reactive behavior, internal overload, and performance collapse before they escalate into operational risk.
When I work with you, it looks like this
Real-time stress metabolizing. You're in a meeting. Decision fatigue is hitting. I help you recognize what's happening in your body and nervous system so you can shift it before reactivity takes over.
Clarifying what's actually happening. I help you see the relational and emotional patterns underneath operational problems. The miscommunication that keeps repeating. The way one person's shutdown affects the whole team's momentum. The unspoken tension that's costing you.
Emotional regulation under load. You learn practical tools for staying clear and functional when pressure is high, not by numbing or pushing through, but by actually metabolizing stress in real time.
Bridging the gap between work and home. Your burnout at work becomes distance at home. Your conflict with your partner becomes poor judgment in a meeting. I help you understand how it all connects so one domain doesn't collapse into the other.
Communication recalibration. You learn how to show up differently with your team, with more clarity, less reactivity, more actual connection.
Leadership clarity amid chaos. When things are uncertain and moving fast, I help you stay grounded in what actually matters and make decisions from that place instead of from fear.
This is about equipping you and your team to carry pressure responsibly, sustainably, and in alignment with your values.
The Framework
Pattern Exposure
Identifying the recurring emotional and behavioral loops shaping how you respond. This is where the loop is surfaced without judgment. Trigger → Feeling → Meaning → Action.
Emotional Discernment
Separating what you feel from the story you're attaching to it. "My feeling is real. The story I'm attaching to it may not be." This is where emotional fusion gets dismantled.
Lineage Recognition
Power Awareness
Conscious Interrupt
Alignment Choice (Integrity)
Integration Reflection
Tracing where the pattern came from and what it was built to protect. Where did this model come from. Who taught it. What did it protect.
Creating the pause between trigger and automatic reaction. "Am I making this evidence?" "Am I running the old model?"This is the cognitive brake.
Choosing behavior that matches intention rather than compulsion. Boundary instead of control. Capacity assessment instead of personalization. Choice instead of compulsion.
Creating the pause between trigger and automatic reaction. "Am I making this evidence?" "Am I running the old model?"This is the cognitive brake.
Looking back at what shifted, what resisted, and what learned insight rewires. Did you do it. What happened. What still hooked you. This is where refinement happens.

What To Expect
Getting Started + Scheduling
Send me an email at holistictherapywithlola@gmail.com with a brief description of what your organization/team is dealing with and what outcome you're hoping for. I'll respond within 24-48 hours to set up an initial conversation.
Initial Conversation (20-30 minutes)
Proposal
We'll talk about what's happening in your organization, what brought you to reach out, and what you're hoping shifts. This is a chance for both of us to see if we're a good fit and for me to understand your actual needs.
Based on our conversation, I'll suggest an engagement model that makes sense for your situation — whether that's weekly sessions, daily check-ins, a retainer, a pilot program, or something else entirely. We'll also discuss pricing and next steps.
We Start
Depending on what we agreed to, this could look different for every organization. It might be regular 1:1 sessions with key leaders, weekly team check-ins, monthly workshops, or daily touchpoints when you need real-time support. We figure out what actually works for your reality.
Ongoing Check-Ins/Sessions: We regularly assess what's shifting, what's working, and what needs to adjust. This isn't a static thing —we evolve based on what your team actually needs.

What this is: structured psychological intervention and guided support with real people inside real systems — applied relationally, not abstractly.
-
Mental Health Engineering draws from clinical skill but is not the same as traditional therapy.
If a person inside your system needs sustained clinical support beyond what emerges here, they can engage therapy independently.
This offering meets people where they are inside systems — relationally, psychologically, and practically — and creates space for deeper work when necessary.
