Our Roots + Commitments
This work is not neutral. It never was.
Beautiful Souls Aligned exists because systems failed me, repeatedly. This is not a space that was created out of ease or abundance. In fact, it was the opposite. It was born out of having to prove I deserved the love and care I know I do, out of survival, and out of deep grief that turned into sacred purpose.
I built this for myself.
For my community.
For humanity.
Because I am.
I created this space in response to the exclusion, erasure, and exhaustion I’ve lived through. I know what it’s like to be in rooms that were never meant to hold me, and never did. I know what it means to have my pain pathologized and intellectualized but never honored, my insight extracted but never credited, my presence tolerated but never protected.
This work is me offering back me to myself in a system that extracts my labor at the expense of me. I am balancing the scales.
Why We Prioritize the Communities We Do
As a Black woman, I carry the ancestral weight of what’s been taken. Everything from land, to language, to lineage, and I also carry the responsibility of what I know how to give, which is emotional repair, intuitive clarity, and a mental, emotional, psychological, historical, spiritual blueprint for coming back into alignment.
That is not a service.
That is a very personal and sacred inheritance.
Every offering I share pulls from my time, my energy, and my life force. And the reality is, there is a finite amount of me. I refuse to allow systems, and those who benefit from that system, that historically harmed us to now benefit from me, while my own people are still trying to survive. At the time of this statement, I currently am too.
This space is, by design, community-centered, not institution-centered.
That means:
Black women are prioritized in all offerings, especially those rooted in healing and repair.
Emotional labor from me or my team will not be extracted by institutions, or those who benefit from them, without compensation and cultural accountability.
Any access extended to individuals outside of this community comes at a cost reflective of harm, historical imbalance, and energy displaced.
It is not discriminatory to name where harm lives and who needs access most, it is restorative.
If you don’t like that truth, this is not the space for you, please find your aligned tribe.
A Note on Equity, DEI, and White Access
With the national disinvestment in DEI efforts, the burden has once again been placed on individuals to carry what systems refuse to repair. I will not internalize that burden. I will not perform resilience. I have lived half of my life in survival alongside resilience. I will not extend endless grace where there is no reciprocity.
If you are not part of the communities this space is explicitly for, you are still welcome to learn, listen, and engage, but your access is not centered, and your presence will not reshape the offering.
This is not a space that exists to make white people feel comfortable, but if we agree on services, you will be held with the same tenderness and care that I believe everyone deserves.
This is a space that exists because I, and my community, needs somewhere that feels safe, I will never let anyone disrupt or cause discord in a space that is as sacred as my home. This was built on my will to live, when I couldn’t see a path forward.
If you want access to that safety, you are investing in emotional equity. That means:
You pay full price. No negotiations.
You acknowledge the cultural labor you’re entering.
You do not attempt to repurpose this framework in diluted, co-opted, or colonized ways.
What You’re Investing In
You’re not just booking a session or consulting hour.
You’re investing in decades of emotional survival, spiritual clarity, and cultural reclamation. You’re stepping into a space that took years of labor to build, because no one built it for us.
This is not a brand.
It is accountability, truth, and integrity towards care that wasn’t made for mass scale digestible performance. We do this for protection.
Our Legal Boundaries
Beautiful Souls Aligned reserves the right to prioritize, limit, or deny services that do not align with the purpose and capacity of the work or the founder.
Every moment in this space is a sacrifice away from my life, I will make those sacrifices for aligned energetic exchanges.
This is a trauma-informed, community-specific space and is legally protected under freedom of expressive association and mission-driven organizational practices.
Prioritization of historically marginalized communities, with Black women being my top priority, is aligned with equity best practices and is not in violation of any discrimination law.
Any attempt to misrepresent our mission, undermine the integrity of our offerings, or colonize or co-opt our frameworks will be considered intellectual, emotional, and spiritual theft and a violation of our terms.
This work is not for everyone. And that is the point.
This space was made to return power to those who were never meant to survive the systems they were born into. It is not your job to understand why if you don’t already, it is your job to respect it.
If that sits right with your spirit, you’re welcome here.
If it doesn’t, this space may not be for you.
